TD+1

Little evidence remains as to the actual origins of the Due Return, and coupled with the lack of physical evidence is the mysterious though legendary silence of the ship's first captain, Nigellus Banks, as to his personal history and that of the ship. During TD+30, however, a small metal tool-chest believed to have belonged to Banks was loosened from a crevice near the base of the ship in the engine room by a magnetic disturbance. Included in the contents of the chest were several small notebooks of mostly inscrutable handwriting, a small stack of photographic images, and other ephemera.
